The first building block is your motivation and what you really want. Take an honest look at yourself and ask yourself these questions:
How would my life change if I had a flat tummy?
How much time and energy would I like to spend on this?
Is getting a flat tummy more important than some other activities I am doing on a regular basis?
Now, why is this last question important? Because the next building block is your exercise schedule. You will have to make time for this- and you might have to give up other activities for it. Watching TV is a good example- if you can find something to give up that keeps you inactive, you’ve discovered a great way to get your body moving.
You do not have to join a gym, and many women over 40 do not like to go to a gym. It’s sufficient if you can get your body moving on a regular schedule.
The third and last building block is your eating habits. What you are eating on a regular basis will determine largely how your tummy looks like- 80% of the success is in what you are eating. Have 5-6 small, healthy meals every day- these will keep you feel full and satisfied. Just make sure you do not get more than 300 calories per meal.
Generally, you will have to find out what works best for you in your specific situation. A good weight loss program will help you to find the best way for you, so you can stay on the program easily and until you got a flat tummy.
